Pitching through email....try again
PR professionals are right here in the blogosphere (no rhyme intended). Pitching has officially reach a new electronic level and some bloggers don't like it. The debate goes back and forth over whether or not PR practicioners should be pitching to bloggers, but it has gone so far that a color-coded system has been devised (not sure how widespread its use is) which says whether or not the blogger will accept pitches. There is still brief description at the bottom of the page when you click the link, but it doesn't seem as if the system has spread much.
I'll post an update if I come across it.
