Pitching over the phone.....nope

Pitching through email....try again

PR professionals are right here in the blogosphere (no rhyme intended). Pitching has officially reach a new electronic level and some bloggers don't like it. The debate goes back and forth over whether or not PR practicioners should be pitching to bloggers, but it has gone so far that a color-coded system has been devised (not sure how widespread its use is) which says whether or not the blogger will accept pitches. Check the full story and the color coded system here:

Hey,

While floating through the blogosphere, I came across a PR and tech site that caught my eye. The title for the post was "PR websites shouldn’t “suck”". After seeing some of the cool websites that they feature, I am convinced that I must go work in England at some point. The creativity is just bubbling over. Check out these sites:

Welcome everyone!

Just to give you a little insight on the name of the group, the name "Influence PR" was generated by my thoughts on the relationship between the two.

The way I see it: To the world of PR, Influence is the atmosphere. We live and breathe it, constantly trying to discover new ways to use it to create change.

So much social change occurs every day. Who's on your radar making it happen?
What's generating buzz? Looking forward to your comments!
